Scientists today unveiled what they claim are the world's first bionic fingers, which they hope will transform the lives of people with missing digits. For use by partial-hand amputees, the fingers can bend, touch, grip and write. The motorized digits cost between $52,000 and $74,000. They are produced by Touch Bionics in Livingston, Scotland.
